A. At the meantime we only cover the M25 Areas of London.
Q. What is your minimum order to book for an assembly?
A. Our minimum order is 50.00 GBP, any order less than 50.00 GBP will be charge the minimum charge.
Q How and when shall I pay for the Invoice?
A. Payment are due immediately upon completion of agreed work. Any part of that invoice which remains unpaid shall carry interest at the rate of 5% over the base rate until payment in full is received by the Company
Q. Is the quote my fixed price for work?
A. Yes and No:but the fitter shall before work begin tell the customer if their will be extra upon approval by the customer then begins the work, if not is the price quotation fixed.
Yes if you have a fixed price quote by adding all the extras e.g Pax frame, internals,wall fixing,vertical build, drawers and fittings, based upon an agreed scope of works to be done or carried out.
No.All quotation and correspondance about price are estimate only. If the description of required work was not complete or sufficiently detailed, if the work-area is not sufficient to carry-out the assembly in an efficient manner.that may delay work, if after submission of the quote it is discovered that further works need to be carried out which were not anticipated when the quote was prepared, if after submission of the quote we discovered that there was a manifest error when the quote was prepared
Q. Do I need to supply any tools?
A. No, we have all the tools required to assemble your furniture, so you don't need to worry about allen keys, drills or a screwdriver to assemble your flatpack.
Q. Will you take the packaging away?
A. No: unfortunately we are unable to remove packaging as were not licensed waste carriers for is an ofence to do so without a licence.
Q. Which brands of flatpack furniture do you assemble?
A. We've assembled furniture from most of the mainstream manufacturers, like Next,Trendy products, Ikea,Argos,Mamas & Papas and a few of the lesser known.
Q. Do you attach furniture to walls?
A. Yes we do. Please ensure you request this when booking (icon wall fix) so we can bring suitable tools and fixings. We can't take responsibility for the attachments used, or the suitability of the wall to accept the fixing and furniture being attached to it.
Q. What should I do before you arrive?
A. We recommend that you clear enough space for us to work in and check that all parts of the flatpack are present and undamaged.
Q. Parts of the flatpack are broken or missing?
A. If you discover this before we arrive call us and cancel the job. If we make the discovery after we've arrived we can write a report to help you get a replacement, unfortunately you will still be liable to pay for our time.
Q. Will you move existing furniture around my room?
A. We will happily do this to help create a work space or accommodate your new furniture layout. The price initially given may increase.
Q. Can I cancel my appointment?
Yes you can cancels your appointment provided you tell us with not less than 24hours notice prior to any work being carried out then the Customer shall be liable for any related expenditure together with the profit that would have been made by the Flatpacshop.com had the work been carried out &/or materials supplied in accordance with such instructions.
Q. Can I hold the company accountable for any delays or time wasted in waiting for them to carry out work?
No: The Flatpackshop.com shall not be liable for any delay or for the consequences of any delay in performing any of its obligations if such delay is due to any cause whatsoever beyond its reasonable control, and the Flatpackshop.com shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of the time for performing such obligations.
Q. Do I get a guarantee?
A. Yes our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months but unfortunately not for the parts. But after we have carried out the works,the Customer is not wholly satisfied with the works then the Customer shall give notice in writing within 7 days to the Flatpackshop & shall afford the Flatpackshop.com, and its insurers,the opportunity of both inspecting such works,& carrying out any necessary remedial works if appropriate. The Customer accepts that if he fails to notify the Flatpackshop.com as aforesaid then the Flatpackshop.com shall not be liable in respect of any defects in the works carried out.only. In respect of faulty workmanship for 14days from the date of completion with the manufacturers warranty in force after this day.
Q. Are you an agency?
A. Assemble Flatpackshop are a team of furniture assemblers, you will deal exclusively with the assembler booked for your job.
